GEICO insurance has garnered another industry award. This time, the country’s fastest growing car insurance company has been named to the Ward’s 50 Benchmark Group for the 18th year in a row, based on it’s continued positive track record of financial results.

The Ward Group is well known as leader of best practices services and benchmarking for the insurance industry, annually reviewing the financial performance of insurers in the areas of consistency, performances, and safety. Those companies that are named to the group are internationally recognizes as being among the top-ranked companies when it comes to financial performance. Only five property-casualty companies have been named to Wards 50 for 18 consecutive years, and GEICO is one of them.

In a statement made to the press, GEICO executive vice president Bill Roberts said, “Being recognized by Ward's for the 18th year in a row is a true testament to our associates' untiring commitment to our policyholders. GEICO is the third-largest insurer of privately owned passenger autos in the Unites States, covering more than 14.4 million vehicles.
